In a workspace, the number-one complaint isn't temperature — it's noise.
Noise is the top environmental complaint at work. Much of the noise that builds up inside a room is reverberation — sound reflecting off hard surfaces — and that in-room build-up is exactly what sound absorption treats. Keeping noise from passing between rooms is a separate job, called soundproofing.
