Walnut acoustic panels are timber slats in a deep walnut finish on an acoustic felt backer that absorbs sound to reduce echo and reverberation. Walnut's dark, warm tone gives a room a richer, more formal character. Like every finish it is an appearance choice — the acoustic work is done by the slats and backer, treating in-room reverberation, not soundproofing between rooms.
Walnut is the darkest, richest of the finishes — a deep chocolate-brown with a more figured grain than oak. It suits boardrooms, reception feature walls and hospitality where a warmer, more formal tone is wanted.
